Titles are everywhere. Some people are defined by titles, some people loathe titles, and others like giving titles. Why do we do this? With so much information getting processed by our minds everyday, we need a way to categorize these groups of associated content in a quick referencing way.

This is the same methodology a search engine applies when it crawls a page. When you title a page, you are telling a search engine or user what the page is supposed to be about. We've all seen the one sentence summaries of television shows on the T.V. Guide. It allows for quick referencing and decision making by telling us what the show is going to be about.

This is part of the reason why naming your page titles is so critical to getting your site ranked. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a site that had one of the following two titles throughout the entire site: "untitled" or "company name".

While having the company name on all the pages could be a potential branding strategy, chances are, most visitors to your site don't know your brand name yet and are looking for the product or service that you're selling. You could incorporate the company name into the title, but it should be placed after the main message you want to convey about that particular page.

Every page should have a unique title. While you may have a subject that needs to be explained over a few pages, you should use the page title as an index of information for the reader. Sites that sell multiple products should have a unique title for every product. If you can't make the time to make each page stand out, why would you expect that page to ever appear in a search engine?

If possible, you should try to place your keywords in the title, since this will help the search engine determine where your page should be ranked. Remember, the search engines rank each page individually, that's why it's so important to use proper naming methods.

When you determine which keywords to use, go for a 4 to 6 word title when possible. After 58 characters, the title in the search engine results page will be truncated and will not be visible to the reader. Also, the longer the title, the less weight is given to each word.

The entire time you are conjuring up titles, always keep the reader in mind first. While some phrases may rank well in the search engines, a reader may never enter that phrase and you'll lose that targeted traffic you were trying to reach. Sometimes the phrases work out well for both the user and search engine, and in those cases success is usually quick to follow.

Then the Consumer Watchdog combined with other socially active groups to force the insurance companies to abandon the practice of basing rates on the zip code and not your record as a driver. Now comes Assembly Bill 2800 which emerged from the Senate Appropriations Committee in August 2008. This is being treated as a slightly more controversial measure. The auto insurance industry is campaigning to allow a switch to mileage and use as criteria for fixing the premiums. It estimates that this could produce further average savings in premiums of about $275 per vehicle. It would work by placing a small monitoring device in every vehicle to assess how far you drive in a year and how well you drive. But this device is viewed as an invasion into the privacy of drivers. As a compromise, the Insurance Commissioner suggests that drivers could allow the insurers to make regular checks on the odometer rather than allowing electronic collection and transmission of data. If the electronic version of the plan does go ahead, it will allow companies to identify consistently low-risk drivers from the time of day they use the roads, the speed at which they drive and the distance they travel. Such drivers will receive the maximum discounts available. Those deemed more likely to have accidents from the way they drive will potentially pay more. In contrast, macrolide antibiotic treatment has shown significant results with 73% of the patients being cured with a single dose. When we say Open source we know that its free no license need no cd keys activation codes etc. Linux is a prominent example of free software or should we say an open source operating system it can be freely modified and redistributed by anyone. Why should we use Open source operating system rather than using license Operating system? Promoting the idea of Linux and open source is just like educating people. Open source Operating system is much better and really reliable system software installation goes with one centralized space. Not like other Operating System such as Windows you can make your installation everywhere which is a total mess!. In open source operating system specifically LINUX/UNIX its centralized, so when you install and uninstall some programs that wont be needed anymore, its easy as one click . The advantage of using Open Source Operating System is that its affordable I mean you can get an Operating System with out paying, that’s what open source can do, memory management most servers all over the world now using Linux as desktop forwards to a very stable system. for example, I always encode my graphics design, and also my videos in Linux using the application Adieux. CPU usage goes 99% / Memory already used SWAP space and my desktop is still usable. I can run Firefox and still surfing the net. I can still watch videos and anything. What a heck! Can you believe it?! I'm going 99% CPUu usage and still doing the things that I want to do. Other operating system can't do this. It isn’t ever!. So if you’re a graphics designer also a coder try using an Open source operating system specifically Linux you wont regret it! I started using Linux last year cause one of my friend keeps telling me to use an Open Source Operating System by the way I love making graphics design, motion graphics, photo editing so I installed the OS I didn’t install it by my self cause installing Linux/Unix Os is not automatic you’ll install it manually yes MANUALLY, believe me open source is the best when it comes to Graphics designing etc. Does Open source operating system support games? Most of the games are not supported in Linux. But the WINE project made everything possible. WINE is another open source project aiming to remake the close source windows ape. Coding the Windows API from the ground is year’s hard work and only the WINE project did that. After 15 years of developing. It was successful! Weeee!. When it comes to Viruses hmmm as of now no virus has made an havoc in Linux/Unix OS but I can say that its possible to make a virus in Linux/Unix OS if one can. . .

What is Google Earth? Google Earth is a virtual globe program that was originally called Earth Viewer, and was created by Keyhole Inc. It maps the earth by the superimposition of images obtained from satellite imagery, aerial photography and GIS 3D globe by the way GIS 3D or Global mapped it displays vector, elevation, raster datasets allowing to edit, print ,convert topographic maps in true 3D. What are its features? The features of Google Earth is that Google Earth displays satellite images of varying resolution of the Earth’s surface, allowing users to visually see things like houses and cars from a bird’s eye view. Google Earth also uses digital elevation model (DEM) data that are collected by NASA’s Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) the 3D views of mountains have been improved by the use of supplementary DEM data to fill the gaps in SRTM coverage. Google Earth also has the capability to show 3d buildings and structures (example bridges) which consist of user’s submissions using 3d software programs samples of 3D software’s (3D max, Maya, Blender etc) and it can also allow users to monitor the traffic speeds using Google Street View. What are its advantages and disadvantages? For me the advantage of using Google earth is that you can easily see the landscape of your should I say territory while the disadvantage of this is that to the people who are into this “AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY” they are chances that they will encounter problems cause they’re way up high. Google Earth has become beneficial to the public cause they have this program called Google Earth Outreach it’s a new program designed nonprofit organizations around the world leverage the power of Google Earth to illustrate and advocate for the important that they do for example this case study that I’ve red there project is Ecological Research on the Ancient Bristlecone Pines they’re goal is to Expedite Field Research and facilitate Data Sharing the Organization: UC Santa Cruz Dept. of Ecology & the White Mountain Research Station said that “We use Google Earth on a daily basis while conducting field research on earth's most ancient trees, the bristlecone pines. Our KML provides an educational tour of the bristlecone ecosystem and demonstrates how Google Earth can be a powerful tool for scientists.” In what ways can Google Earth be more useful? Google earth can be more useful in a way that people can see the overview of there structures so that they can easily build there buildings it also help people easily make sketch due to its overview 3D. What are your recommendations for the further improvement of Google Earth? My recommendations for the further improvement of Google Earth is that first they should fix any bugs that can be found second is to allow zoom in further to see or get more place marks.

October 18 , 2008 was the 19th birthday of MARJORIE MAGNO our former schoolmate in UIC. it was held in Crown Regency Hotel in Cabaguio we didn't expect that we were invited together with our friends Me, Jay Alternado, John Ervin , Kido, Eric, Jay and Kyle Indino were the the participants of the 19 roses (geee). We enjoyed so much that we stayed there for one night (sayang naman yung ni rent na room ni Marjorie kung aalis din kami dba :P ) we were not kinda prepared because we didn't bring extra clothes we planned to have night swimming but unfortunately we don't have extra clothes nahh! anyway we met the cousins of Marj together with her friends.

WRITING. Effective writing is quality writing. To achieve this, analyze your writing for two characteristics: content and form, in other words what you write and how you write it. Writing without form is like a human body without skeleton, writing without content is like a skeleton with no flesh ( Mt.Edgecumbe ).If you want your ideas to be clearly and accurately understood, both characteristics must be present in you writing. The writing process consists of the following steps: 1. pre writing, 2. Organizing, 3. writing, 4. revising, 5. editing, 6. writing the final draft after several revisions.

•PREWRITING: is brainstorming. The purpose is to create as many ideas related to the subject as possible, as quickly as possible Examples of brainstorming are listing, fast writing, spidering, and mapping.

•ORGANIZING: is selecting an opinion about the subject, choosing enough of the right type of detail from the prewrite and adding when needed, and crating an order for those details and fitting them into the form.

•WRITING:is simply following the shaping of the form and posting the fragments into complete sentences and adding when needed.

•REVISING: is adding and deleting information, changing the order of the details and forms, and looking for major mechanical errors.

•EDITING: is checking the writing for basic writing errors, like spelling, punctuation marks, and grammar.

If the listener can feel free to keep the speaker posted on what and how the listener is feeling and thinking, and if the listener feels free to break in from time to time to clarify, check out the message, etc. Then the listener is more involved in the message is more likely to listen well and attentively. Sometimes the speaker's control of the message is too rigid and this blocks a two-way flow. Examples: lecturing, advice giving, reprimanding.

ASSUMPTIONS: Avoid clouding up you listening attention with assumptions about what the other person is trying to say, what they really mean, what thy want the listener to do etc. Assumptions are often not accurate and they certainly prevent the listener from focusing on what's being said. If I'm assuming, I'm not listening.

BUZZ WORDS: Most people have private buzz words which have a definite emotional charge, sometimes positive, sometimes negative. When listeners hear their own buzz words, they're apt to reject or accept the whole message on the basis of their instant emotional reaction to the listener, through still apparently listening, has shifted focus to refuting what the speaker has "mistakenly" said.

DISTRACTIONS: Other thing in the Environment, in the listener's own mind, various stimuli that get in the way to truly attending to what another person is saying.

INTERRUPTIONS: In our haste to share our own ideas, we cut others off. This conveys to the speaker that you do not value what they have to say.

Guess what ive won a CD whew! ahaha well anyway im one of the BSIT student taking up multimedia im not so familiar with Corel Draw but somehow I want to try using that software but my capacity is with Adobe Photoshop only so too bad! *sigh* both of them are good in using such software. Im so happy cause they conducted a seminar about multimedia its been a year since they held a seminar together with there pal. So students of University of Immaculate Conception the seminar is not yet over we still have Mr.Marlo Simon Noval together with Mr.Gary Bautista they will introduce us about The Video Editing using Final Cut by Mr.Gary Bautista (geee) that was new to me im so excited to see it and Mr.Marlo Simon Noval will introduce about Blender 3d i love this guy cause he's so talented to students behind this event THANKS TO YOU GUYS hope this event still continue not just by now. Windows OS vs. Linux OS

As I conducted a 1 on 1 interview with MARLO SIMON NOVAL (Monmon) as we call him. MARLO SIMON NOVAL is a 4th year student from the University of Immaculate Conception a Linux Os user. As we get along with the interview I asked Marlo a question “Why use Linux OS, why not Windows OS?” according to him “coz Linux is an open source. Windows has been like-a-standard nowadays. And back in 2007, I was so shocked to know that pirating/cracking is a bad thing to do. It's evident that software piracy law is not implemented here in PH that is why promoting the idea of Linux and Open source is just like educating people. Why Linux is better? I don't use Linux because of my advocacy. I use it because it's really a much better and reliable system. Software installation goes in one centralized space. Not like windows that you can make your installation everywhere, which is a total mess! In Linux/Unix, it's centralized, so when you install and uninstall, it's as easy as one-click. Memory management. Most servers all over the world are using Linux UNIX. So using Linux as desktop forwards to a very stable system. For example, I always encode my videos in Linux using the application Adieux. CPU usage goes 99% / Memory already used SWAP space and my desktop is still usable. I can run Firebox and still surfing the net. I can still can watch videos and anything. What a heck? Can you believe it? I'm going 99% and still doing the things I want to do. The Windows OS can't do this. It isn’t ever! Does Linux OS support games? Most games are not supported in Linux. But the WINE project made everything possible. WINE is another open source project aiming to remake the close source windows ape. Coding the Windows API from the ground is year’s hard work and only the WINE project did that. After 15 years of developing. It was successful! Weeee! Can we still put Anti-Virus softwares in Linux? Windows virus is different from Linux. They have different ape. So putting windows virus in Linux won't hurt. For now, no virus has made havoc in Linux systems. But it’s possible to make a virus in Linux. If one can. Here

How to be a Good Listener

WHAT IS ACTIVE LISTENING? The process of listening, clarifying, giving feedback, and self disclosing. It involves the participation of both parties in verbal and non-verbal ways. uses of "I" statements is imperative.

MAKE EYE CONTACT: Be sure to look the speaker in the face most of the time, especially look at her/his eyes. If you forget to make eye contact, the speaker may think you are bored, withdrawn, or simply not listening. Also be culturally sensitive some individuals may be uncomfortable with too much direct eye contact.

TAKE A LISTENING POSITION: sit or stand in a comfortable position with your body aimed in the general are where the speaker is. Try to be in a relaxed position. Face the speaker and make appropriate eye contact. Be aware of other non-verbals: placement of arms, leaning forward when necessary, head nodding, degree of personal space, smiling.

PARAPHRASE THE SPEAKER'S MESSAGE: Paraphrasing means stating in your own words what someone has just said. Some common ways to lead into paraphrases include:

• What I hear you saying is. . .

• In other words

• So basically how you felt was. . .

• What happened was. . .

• Sounds like you're feeling. . .

The speaker then has a chance to know you have understood what she/he has said. This also gives the speaker the opportunity to try to make the message more clear if she/he doesn't think you really understood. Also be sure to reflect feeling words.

ASK CLARIFYING QUESTIONS FOR UNDERSTANDING: If something the speaker says is unclear to you, ask her/him a question to get more information. Such questions make you an active interested listener; the speaker can tell that you've been listening enough to have question and care enough to ask. Ask open ended questions when you need more information e.g " Could you give me an example of when you've had difficulty talking to your professor?" Avoid the overuse of closed questions; these are questions that just require a yes or no response and tend to halt communication.

MAKE COMMENTS, ANSWER QUESTIONS: When the speaker stops or pauses, you can be a good listener by making comments about the same subject. If you change the topic suddenly, she/he may think you weren't listening. If the speaker asks a question, your answer can show were listening. Also, use silence to your benefit versus attempting to fill the conversation with constant talk.

PROVIDE APPROPRIATE FEEDBACK: Student are likely to be interested and invested in your opinion and feedback. Monitor your reactions to what they have to say and give reactions in non judgmental ways. Feedback should always be given in an honest and supportive way.

EMPATHY: Recognize that everyone is trying to service, get through school successfully, build a support network and deal with the demands of outside life. Sometimes is can be difficult to be empathic if we have had different life experience or would try a different solution than those tried students.

OPENNESS: Listen with openness. Be a supportive, but neutral listener. This provides safety for self-disclosure and talk of emotional states. Be careful of judgments and stereotypes you have that block openness. Attempt to put yourself in the other person's shoes in terms of trying to understand how they feel, while also not becoming consumed with their difficulties. Incorporate your own self-care so that you don not burn out.

AWARENESS: Be aware of your own biases. We all have biases-this is a part of human nature. The key is to not let them get in the way of what others have to say. Try to fully understand the person and their context versus relying on just you personal experience to guide them.

Men by nature always need something more! It’s because men can’t settle for what they presently have. They always desire for something new and interesting, something that would rouse their imagination.

Men are hard to satisfy. Men by nature do not get contented of what life could offer. Every time there wants are satisfied, they always have new things they crave for. Men by nature are really never contented. They keep looking for more than what they have.

But the severity of it still remains relative. There are some that are easily pleased, while some are hard to please. It just depends on what they think "enough" really is to make them happy.

Men generally, are egoistic do you know whats egoistic, egoistic means one devoted to one's own interests and advancement; an egocentric person or selfish. They are self centered because of there strong desire to have something that’s not usual.

Waiting shed shelters bored lovers

One afternoon, I joined my boyfriend on a visit to his relatives, who lived in a parsonage ( a church house of pastors ). After getting tired talking and bonding with them, we got bored and planned on a sweet escape. We opted to stay in a waiting shed near the church. As we were busy chatting and laughing my boyfriend couldn't resit touching my body, to which i felt uneasy. You see, I'm not the kind of girlfriend who's okay with PDA. But as our surroundings got darker, he continued caressing my breasts with his hands. It got me feeling hot and wet inside. He dared me to have s*x with him right then and there. I couldn't control it anymore so we did sitting and standing positions. For the first time I was able to come in two minutes! i never knew that the suspense would make it feel so damn good. Backdoor Couple!

My honey and I love to stay in his room whenever i visit his house. One time, we were cuddling each other until we found ourselves kissing torridly. We wanted to make love at that moment, but the problem was, we couldn't close the door in his room because his mother might suspect were doing something, well, filthy. Instead we planned on hiding behind the door. We turned on the TV to pretend were watching so that if someone passed by they wouldn't notice us.
